War. War is never good, but it's such an old and important part of humanity that it will always survive. Everyone feels that their own petty squabbles are morally justified. But, looking at the big picture, throughout all of human time we have been at war. Every country shall or has felt an obligation to go to war, as we did with Pearl Harbour. The war mongers saw it and gleefully said, "What can we do, but go to war?" And that's the thing we had to go to war, or at least the majority of the people felt so. Could we have done something else? Yes, but we didn't. No one will, our pride states we have to go to war, we lost the chance for peace when they provoked us. The alternatives vary in their degrees of efficiency. We should use them regardless of  that, but we don't for our pride.
