Good morning Y'all.

My name is Tabbi Coffman. The first fun fact about comes from my name, my Mom named me Tabitha Catherine just so she could shorten it to Tabbi Cat. She thinks that she's very clever for this. To go ahead and get the main questions out of the way so I can get real nerdy my academic goals for this year are to hopefully get a 5 on the AP exam and really bring out my voice in my writing to better define my style. The most meaningful moment of my summer was probably delivering my fourth year speech at VAMPY (I will explain). And if I could have a super power I'd either want to fly (wings and all), have witch powers (Harry Potter style) or be able to bend the elements (Avatar style). I know that wasn't one super power but I mean come on do you honestly think I could narrow it down to just one super power?

To explain VAMPY simply, it's a nerd camp. You go live on campus at WKU for three weeks and take whatever class you want. I took a Humanities class with a bunch of my friends from last year. Humanities was just talking about the inevitable death of everything including ourselves and everyone we love and of course what happens next. Do we cease to exist for all eternity causing our short lives to be just a meaningless moment in the void destined to be forgotten? Or is there a divine entity that grants us the grace to live in a incorporeal form without ever tiring of our existence? These questions are a little bit intense to think about everyday so we also did art projects and watched movies so we wouldn't cry in class or something. Trust me it was very fun. I could probably write an entire book on why VAMPY is  great, and tell all of the wonderful stories of my experience, and explain the pure sense of community that forms there-- but that would take forever. I will explain the most meaningful moment though. It was my last year at VAMPY and as a fourth year I gave a speech at the final banquet to the entire camp. I wrote my speech that morning as I was getting ready on a page of sketch book paper. When my room mate read it she cried and I laughed at her and I turned it in. At the banquet I was so nervous about giving my speech that I barely ate and I was just about to sneak off to the bathroom when the director of the camp announced that it was time for the fourth year speeches. Can you see where this is going? The director called my name first. So I went up there and nervously botched the first few paragraphs of my speech until I swallowed my fear and went with it. It made people laugh which was what I was going for so that was good. When I finished everyone clapped and my friends cheered for me and I sat down and proceeded to shake for another ten minutes. It was a really good moment though, I got to be one of those fourth years that give their last farewells in front of everyone. It meant a lot to me that people loved my speech.

The feels are real right now.

Okay.

Now to the good and nerdy. I consider myself to have an incredible passion for stories. May they be from books, TV dramas, or kid shows I get fully involved in the story. For example there is this kids show called Steven Universe which I just adore right now because it's cute, and has aliens in it, and there's cute songs in a lot of the episode. What's not to love? I also have a strange obsession with watching movies again, and again, and again. I don't know why. Like one day I just decided that I was going to spend the entire day watching the Prisoner of Azkaban-- ALL DAY ON REPEAT. It's an addiction. Other than wasting my life watching movies I've already seen I also LOVE to cook (my Dad was a chef before he became a lawyer so I've learned from an expert) and I consider myself a pretty hardcore doodler.

I hope this all helps you get to know me a little bit better.

Last movie I watched: The Aristocats
Current favorite song: Hotel California
Favorite website as of right now: http://proteys.info/404/

Because winter is coming AND I'M READY.
