(The following is based on a prompt I put up from earlier. That prompt was "Talk about how awesome One-Punch Man is.")
Imagine the most overpowered character in any piece of fiction who never has to even try to defeat his opponents. Now imagine them stronger. Now imagine them stronger.
In no possible universe could this now absurdly strong character stand a chance against Saitama, the protagonist of One-Punch Man, the anime adaptation of the webcomic of the same name. His gimmick is that he can kill any opponent in one punch, although he has never been hurt by enemy attacks or missed either, making him about as powerful as you could possibly make him. The show is primarily a comedy, and a pretty good one at that, but it does have those big, epic moments this kind of show is known for. He literally punches someone so hard that it stops raining. How? Why? These are the kinds of questions the show has absolutely no interest in answering. You constantly expect this new, more powerful villain might finally cause him to break a sweat, but nope. It's all over in one punch. Every. Single. Time.
