Thomas Winterton- Post 5

I watch T.V. as a way to escape the stresses of life. To let my brain turn on auto pilot and let my mind drift after a long day of strenuous intellectual practice (school, studying.) I believe all people should have some way to unwind similar to this. let your self become catatonic on a bed or couch and let your mind drift as you absorb whatever show/ activity you decide to partake in. This process allows for myself to unwind and relax my mind in preparation for the next day. I am a thorough believer that continuous stress can affect your physical and mental health and that if given the opportunity to unwind it should be taken immediately for your own sake. Its important in life to be able to take on a lot of stress and trauma, but its even more important to have an efficient mode by which to release that stress.
