Assignment 7: Jordan Carroll

October 7th- War on Afghanistan is launched. This marked the official entry of the U.S into the Middle Eastern War. This event was not necessarily good, it resulted in the death of many U.S military men and women, but it also led to the death of Osama Bin Laden. This made the war in the middle east relevant to the lives of the American people. It could be said that if the U.S had never gotten involved maybe many terroristic acts that have happened since the start of the war wouldn't have happened. There's not a huge chance that this is true, but it's a possibility. If this event had never happened who knows where the world would be now? Without American forces fighting in the war, maybe ISIS or other terroristic groups would have risen to power, maybe they would be running the entire middle east by now, who knows? I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and this event is an important part of the history of the world and influenced the future of the world.
