My two personalities
Part of me, believes in what Albert Einstein said: (something along the lines of...) war in just a cloak for murder. Every human life is so precious. Each person has a completely unique experience on Earth. Yet we all hurt the same, we all cry the same, we all laugh, most of us will love. I have such a deep love for humanity, I want people to be happy. I want tolerance and understanding for everyone. War goes against all of those values. Its like I said when talking about good and evil, and war is a big, ugly grey area. War takes lives, and it causes a ripple effect of emotional pain. And it often hurts the Earth in its wake. HOW COULD SOMETHING SO DESTRUCTIVE EVER BE OKAY?!
however, there's also my other half...
Life is about survival. As harsh as it may be in the grand scheme of things it's always going to be you and yourself. Or the mentality of "us vs. them". A question that comes to mind is: why shouldn't we fight to defend what we believe in, what we stand for, and our culture? Who the hell gives anyone the right to take what's ours? I would always choose the lesser of two evils, even if it is evil.
