Alright I'm just gonna keep chugging away, post after post, so i hope your not tired just yet we've still got ten more to go. ok so can you see that picture up there? Yeah, that one right there. Ok so maybe you still haven't found it, look up ok now left a little more, perfect. Now that you can see it let me explain, as the cold war was beginning to heat up in november of 1989 the berlin wall, separating east and west germany Came down, reuniting the broken nation. It was a heavily protested issue in the area at the time and when It came down, thousands turned up to help tear it down, not willing to let it stand for a minute longer than necessary. now it wasn't instantaneous, at first only ten official border crossings were opened but more came, along with bulldozers busting through to reestablish ancient roads and eventually east berlins government began tearing it down as well marking the end of the wall. the wall had divided the german people because of a political division between fascists and communists. what i find truly funny is that when put into perspective it was ahead of its time, with walls dividing the borders between north and south korea, palestine and israel, and possibly even the US and mexico depending on next years elections.
